Legal
Privacy policy.
We collect as little personal data as we can. This policy explains what we do collect and why.
In short
- We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
- If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send it.
- If you email us, we use your message and address to reply.
- “Save article” stores a list of pages in your own browser; it is never sent to us.
Newsletter
When you subscribe, we collect your email address to send the newsletter, on the basis of your consent. Our email service provider processes it on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, and we then stop sending to you.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting infrastructure records technical request data — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Third-party content
Photographs are served from Unsplash’s image servers, which receive standard request data when an image loads. Share buttons are ordinary links; the social network only receives data if you click one.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its use. To make a request, email privacy@carrental.news. See also our cookie policy.
